GS TROPHY 2020 QUALIFIER.CONDITIONS OF ENTRY.
I apply to participate in the event indicated above (“Event”) conducted by BMW Motorrad Nordic and Touratech Experience (“Event Provider”) in its capacity as a BMW Authorised Event and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
All participants are required to hold a valid motorcycle license (at the time of the qualifier).
Every participant needs to take part in the GS Trophy Qualifier with any BMW Motorrad GS model in technical good condition which has to be registered to the participant (HP2 Enduro models are allowed, as well).
All riders must be dressed completely in suitable rider gear that is in good condition. All rider gear will be checked during registration at the event. I agree that I shall at all times during the Event use adequate safety equipment including but not limited to a motorcycle safety helmet approved by the EU-standards and protective clothing including a full length riding jacket and pants that include appropriate protective inserts and full length motorcycle boots with shin and ankle support and that I shall comply with any other safety requirements specified by the Event Provider.
During the GS Trophy 2020 Qualifier I consent to BMW Motorrad using my name, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without further permission or remuneration for the purpose of promoting the Event and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by BMW Motorrad.
I acknowledge that motorcycle activities can be dangerous and that by engaging in these activities and participating in the Event I am voluntarily exposing myself to and accepting all risks and dangers including the risk of personal injury, disability, death, and property damage.
Any motorcycle provided by me for use in accordance with the Event requirements shall be registered and in a roadworthy and safe condition and shall comply with any requirements specified by the Event Provider. The Event Provider reserves the right to refuse my participation in the Event if the condition of my motorcycle does not meet these requirements.
I acknowledge that I shall, whilst at the Event, be responsible for the operation and control of any motorcycle operated by me and I shall at all times operate the motorcycle in a safe manner, in accordance with applicable road rules and conditions and in accordance with any directions given by the Event Provider. I shall not operate the motorcycle under the influence of any drug or intoxicating substance or participate in any race or contest.
The Event Provider reserves the right at any stage to forthwith evict me from the Event or to refuse my participation in any stage of the Event for any non-compliance by me of these Terms and Conditions or otherwise in its absolute discretion and in these circumstances no refund of any fees will be provided.
The following groups of people are NOT entitled to take part in the Nordic GS Trophy 2020 Qualifier and the Int. GS Trophy 2020:
-Participants of former Int. GS Trophies.
-Staff members of BMW AG and BMW NSCs.
-Proprietors of a BMW dealership.
-Instructors who currently work for BMW Motorrad (regardless of whether they obtain an instructor license of any other brand or organization).
-Holders of a motorcycle PRO racing license.
OUR DATA PROTECTION POLICY (GDPR)
The personal data is available for those who work with customer-related data and marketing at Touratech Experience / Touratech Nordic. Furthermore, information such as delivery address and ordered product items can be forwarded to our suppliers in cases where we send from an external party. Your information will also be disclosed to BMW Motorrad Nordic for the marketing of its products. Otherwise, we do not provide personal information to anyone other than the above-stated parties. You have the right to request access to, rectification and deletion of personal data, limitation of personal data and sensitive personal data. In order to have valid bookkeeping, certain information can by law not always be deleted.
Changing or deleting personal data
If you have previously given us consent to collect and store your personal data, you have the right to contact us to revoke this. You can contact us via e-mail if you have a request for personal information. If so, please contact us from the e-mail you have previously used when you have visited us, or we would otherwise like you to be able to identify yourself to ensure your identity.
Please note that you always have the right to complain to the Data Inspectorate if you feel that we are deficient in our handling of personal data, but of course, we are grateful if you can primarily contact us so that we have the opportunity to improve.
If we suspect that something has occurred that affects personal data, such as an intrusion attack against a database, the Data Inspection will be notified within 72 hours together with the following information:
– What information is involved
– The number it affects
– Potential consequences
– Measures were taken and planned measures are taken
If the incident can lead to people being exposed to serious risks such as theft, fraud or discrimination, the victims will also be informed. If we do not consider that such a risk exists, an assessment is made on a case-by-case basis whether the victim is to be informed and, if so, which method to use. All incidents involving personal data will be documented.
Personal data handling regarding quotation, agreements, customer meetings, and ordering
Personal information and related information that can be collected by quotation, agreement, customer meetings, and order:
– First name
– Phone number
– Personal number
Personal information and related information about an order or quotation is stored in our accounting system with the purpose of following the Accounting Act and for maintaining a business relationship between the customer and Touratech Experience / Touratech Nordic. Personal data linked to orders in our financial system are stored for at least 7 years according to the Accounting Act.
Visitors who signed up for newsletters on the website and customers who purchased products or experiences from us are registered in our online-based newsletter program. The purpose is to be able to send newsletters and targeted offers. The information in this system is stored by Paloma, Åsgatan 63, 776 31 Hedemora. This system contains only email address if you did not register your name when registering on our websites. We believe that you who doing business / have done business with us have a fundamental interest in our products/services and that we have a customer relationship. There is always a link at the bottom of our newsletters for those who wish to unsubscribe from our mailings.
The information about an order is collected primarily through the form filed by the user on the booking pages and in the webshop, but can also be done via e-mail, forms on the website or in some cases by telephone.
Personal information related to suppliers is saved in our accounting system in order to be able to maintain a business relationship between the supplier and the Touratech Experience. The information is used to communicate with the supplier and primarily concerns orders and prices. The information is saved as long as we consider us to have a customer relationship or until an agreement has expired. Personal information and related information that we store applicable suppliers:
– First name
– Phone number
– Company name
– Business address
– Organization number
– Bankgiro / plusgiro
We use Google Analytics. It is a statistical tool that is used to analyze how our visitors use the page. This means that information is collected about which pages you visit, the number of clicks and similar information. The IP address and personal information are automatically anonymized by Google for not identifying a user. If your browser is set to allow cookies then we interpret that you agree that we may place cookies on your computer. You can change this yourself by not allowing cookies in the browser.
Touratech Experience reserves the right for any printing errors/typing errors and price and program changes.
